The Right to Make Choices Learning Series

The Arc of El Paso believes that all people, including people with disabilities, have the right to make decisions about their lives, and getting support to make those decisions from people that are trusted. People with disabilities have that same right but do not always have the same opportunity to make those decisions. This learning series presented in English will help participants better understand how to empower choice-making, while also teaching about supported decision-making, alternatives to guardianship, and guardianship.

Sessions will be held during the fall of 2022 via Zoom with these topics:

November 16, 2022 10:00 a.m. (MST) Alternatives to Guardianship

December 7, 2022 10:00 a.m. (MST) Guardianship
